Eyebeam Center for the Future of Journalism
Eyebeam Center for the Future of Journalism (ECFJ) launches impactful journalism in partnership with major media outlets. ECFJ is an experimental grant-making program that supports artists producing innovative and revelatory journalistic work for major media outlets through a rolling application process.
Eyebeam x VH Award
Eyebeam's partnership with Hyundai Motorgroup’s VH Award, Asia’s leading award for new media artists. A virtual Eyebeam fellowship was awarded to five artists of Asian descent who are addressing the future of Asia through screen-based works. The winner, Lawrence Lek, received $25,000 in support of their work’s production.
Digital Day Camp
Digital Day Camp (DDC) is Eyebeam’s longest-running program. DDC is an intensive, multi-week, youth arts, and technology program for more than 30 NYC public high school students. Applications open each summer.
Rapid Response for A Better Digital Future
Artists reclaim virtual space from surveillance capitalism.
Launched in response to the onset of the Covid-19 crisis, Rapid Response became Eyebeam’s inaugural fully-digital artist fellowship. Marking the beginning of a new kind of artist support at Eyebeam, the 9-month program supported 30 artists and collectives from across the globe.
