Partner Organizations: Ghostly International
Led by Eyebeam Fellow
Aaron Meyers, in collaboration with
Re:Group artist,
Aaron Koblin and in creative partnership with
Ghostly International.
Tuition for the Visual Music Collaborative has been generously underwritten by Eyebeam's creative partner, Ghostly International.
11 participants explore the relationship between music, sound, and dynamically generated imagery and motion. Topics include sound-analysis techniques, advanced OpenGL programming, and interfacing with mobile control devices. Guest speakers and musicians provide additional insight. The masterclass culminates in an event where participants perform using work created during the week.
Ghostly International is a multi-disciplinary cultural curator that fulfills the roles of art gallery, design house, technology innovator, publishing company, and record label in one. In the years since its
birth in 1999, Ghostly has released work from the world’s best visualartists, designers, technologists, and musicians. Participants in this program will have the unique opportunity to work with special assets
and material from Ghostly artists and the possibility of a creative relationship with the label.
