Free Join Eyebeam for a discussion around a pragmatic philosophy of action that allows us to look at the recent developments in (open source) software and hardware in a truly positive way. We are missing a 'middle' in between the hype of smart cities and 'seamless total connectivity' and the painful bric-a-brac of patching technologies onto everyday streets and neighbourhoods where streets are packed with cars, infrastructure is cracking up, providers are competing instead of cooperating and policy is parsed to simulations.
